DUE TO FAN DEMAND, ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC RELEASES

ADDITIONAL SEATS FOR THE 50TH ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS

LIMITED VIEW TICKETS AVAILABLE MARCH 18TH AT TICKETMASTER.COM

ENCINO, CA (March 16, 2015) – The Academy of Country Music announced today that due to an overwhelming fan demand, additional seats have been released for the 50th Academy of Country Music Awards on April 19, 2015 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The limited view tickets at AT&T Stadium will go on sale on Wednesday, March 18 at 10:00 AM CT on Ticketmaster.com for $50, and are positioned to offer fans a unique vantage point with behind-the-scenes views of the awards show.

As previously announced, performers at the 50th Academy of Country Music Awards include country superstars Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Sam Hunt, Miranda Lambert, Reba, Thomas Rhett, Blake Shelton, George Strait, Cole Swindell, Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line and more to be announced.

“We keep finding ways to open up seats to accommodate as many of our fans as possible, and give more locals the opportunity to attend the 50th ACM Awards. These seats will give a very unique perspective inside the stadium, while offering affordable views to all of the excitement and backstage moments,” said Bob Romeo, CEO for the Academy.

Additional ticket packages for the 50th Academy of Country Music Awards and ACM Party for a Cause Festival are available at ACMawards50.com and Ticketmaster.com. These packages became available through creative stage design to accommodate more fans on February 20, after the initial ticket allotment for the show and festival sold out in 18 minutes in April. The accumulated 60,000 tickets sold in April marked the biggest and fastest selling sales record in the Academy’s history.

The 50th ACM Awards will be broadcast LIVE for the first time ever from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 8:00 PM live ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network. ACM Award winners Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan will return to co-host this super-sized night of incredible country music performances, which will cap off three days of events, including ACM Party for a Cause Festival on April 17-18, 2015 at Globe Life Park, in Arlington, Texas. This two-day outdoor music event will include multiple stages for ongoing LIVE country music performances, interactive experiences, a family-friendly country marketplace with food trucks and vendors from around the country, and much more. All participating artists will be announced at a later date. In addition, the weekend will end with the All-Star Jam, the Academy’s “official” after-party immediately following the Awards Show in the West Plaza at AT&T Stadium.
