Pete Boland’s “Pete for St. Pete” Website Features Modernity, Custom Illustration, and User-Friendly Interface
Tampa Bay, FLA (July 2nd, 2021) – Tampa Bay advertising agency, Evolve & Co, was commissioned to build the website for St. Petersburg Mayoral Candidate Pete Boland. Evolve & Co is a full-service advertising agency of brand strategists and creatives, specializing in the lifestyle vertical and welcomed the challenge of bringing the candidate’s vision to life.
The Pete for St. Pete site is a full WordPress 5.7.2 responsive website designed using premium theming with client specific customization, premium plugin stack configuration, pre-launch backend search engine optimization, Yoast SEO configuration, and custom htaccess directives for performance. It consists of 7 custom-designed pages including a highly organized platform page, GiveWP configured donation page, and a dynamic and informative home page. This site also features high resolution imagery and videography, a user-friendly calendar, and a story page that utilizes slider galleries to showcase Pete’s life story.
“When creating this site, the St. Petersburg voter experience was at the forefront of our design plan. What will they want to know about Pete? How can we tell his story virtually while maintaining Pete’s authenticity? What is the best way to organize and display policies?
Right when users land on the site, they’re greeted by Pete. The user is then presented with opportunities to learn more about Pete, view videos on his core policies or read about them, see Pete in the news, sign up to volunteer or donate.
From the banner at the top, guiding viewers to register to vote, to the footer that includes a personal message from Pete, this site experience is truly voter-centric.

Boland, a registered Republican, born and raised in St. Pete, is proud to call himself a moderate, and is promoting a policy agenda he calls “St. Pete First.” Among top priorities for the City, he is focusing on lower taxes, increased government accountability, building more houses, modernizing the police, improving public schools, and serving as a champion of small business and the local hospitality industry (a pillar of the St. Pete economy).
