For the last few weeks since the completion of his studio in the outskirts of Toronto, electronic music producer deadmau5 has been sharing online many new developing productions and works in progress. Today, May 27 he has made available his first official single release since 2014 with “Snowcone.” The downtempo instrumental made its debut today on deadmau5’s mau5trap Beats 1 radio show. Meanwhile, deadmau5 recently launched a fundraising initiative in support of Urban Fitness 911— a Los Angeles non-profit organization that was created to address the disparity of academic skills, health and fitness among teenagers and young adults in low income communities–in partnership with CrowdRise, the largest crowd funding platform for good.
