[Sarasota, Fla. — April 28, 2014] The Peruvian gastro brewpub Darwin’s on 4th (1525 Fourth St.) will host Tampa-based Cigar City Brewing for a beer pairing dinner at 7 p.m. on Wed., May 7. The cost is $50 per person and includes five courses from Darwin’s, each paired with a beer from Cigar City Brewing.

The menu is below. Reservations are highly suggested and are available by calling the restaurant at 343-2165.

Cigar City Brewing is an award-winning craft brewery based in Tampa, Fla. This will be the first collaboration between Cigar City and Darwin’s on 4th/Darwin Brewing Company.

1st Course
Chifa Ceviche. Fresh Salmon, Young Coconut Water Infused with Ginger, Lemongrass, Soy Sauce, Cancha, Choclo & Seaweed.
Beer: Tropical Heatwave

2nd Course
Yuzu-Butter Poached Lobster Taco. Miso-Truffle Black Bean Puree, Avocado, Pico De Gallo, Soft Flour Tortilla.
Beer: Invasion Pale Ale

3rd Course
Crispy Sea Bass Warm Ceviche. Sea Bass Croquettes, Curry Lime Aioli, Chalaca Relish.
Beer: 5yrs 5Beers Double IPA  

4th Course
Lomito Al Jugo. Stir Fry Beef Tenderloin, Tomatoes, Onions, Cilantro, Aji Soy Sauce & Crispy Yuca.
Beer: Puppy´s Breath Porter  

5th Course
Chef Darwin´s Brulee. 100% Cacao Amazonas Custard with crisp sugar glaze and fresh berries.
Beer: 5yrs 5Beers Barley Wine
