Darwin Brewing Company and Geraldson Community Farms host new monthly “Local Evolution Craft Market”

Darwin Brewing Company (DBC) and Geraldson Community Farm (GCF) are collaborating to host the first Local Evolution Craft Market, held at DBC (803 17th Avenue West, Bradenton) on Friday, November 7th, from 5p-9p. The market will be held monthly, featuring freshly prepared food, local music, and craft beer from farmers and artisans from the Bradenton, Sarasota, and greater Tampa Bay area. The event is free and open to all ages.

“The purpose of the market is to collaborate with local businesses to help support our community,” said Matt Cornelius, General Manager at DBC. “We are working with different vendors to integrate local products.”

Collaborations include:
•    Sarafresh Juice and DBC beer cocktails
•    221bc Kombucha, GCF produce, and DBC beer cocktails
•    Lather & Love Beer and Basil Soap (GCF basil, DBC beer)
•    Sunshine Canning Beer Mustard (DBC beer)
•    Bodhi Basics Spelt Grain Sugar Scrub and Hops Beard Oil (DBC spent grain and hops)
•    Little House Essentials “How to Clean with Craft Beer Handbook”
•    Polpo’s Local Pizza cooked using GCF produce, and paired with DBC beer

“The Local Evolution Craft Market will create a place for our community to understand the importance of shopping local, as well as create a space for small businesses and vendors to sell high quality, handmade products,” said Christa Leonard, Operations Manager at GCF.

The event is family and dog friendly, including a kids corner with kids products. There will be a donation-based yoga class from 6-7p and the Josh Haram Band playing from 7-10p.
