LOS ANGELES, CA – “Crazy Stupid Love,” the contagious pop hit from Los Angeles-based act My Crazy Girlfriend, is available for purchase now on iTunes. Fans of My Crazy Girlfriend will be able to catch the tune, and others off their soon-to-be-released album when they head out for a 20-city tour with their friends from overseas, Little Mix. Says My Crazy Girlfriend of the tour, “We’re so excited to be joining Little Mix on their upcoming US tour, we’re such big fans or their music, and are looking forward to hitting the road and getting a little crazy together!”

“Comprised of fierce femcee Cosmo, powerhouse vocalist Myah Marie and pop/hip-hop production duo Justyn and Bennett, the awesome foursome is already generating significant buzz,” says Idolator, “with a sharp sense of humor, massive hooks, and sugary swagger, they’re the perfect pop group!” The video for “Crazy Stupid Love” can be viewed here.

“Crazy Stupid Love” comes off the heels of anthemic track “Go F**k Yourself” which went No. 1 on the Billboard dance charts, exploded on Vine and has become a breakout anthem for teens standing up against bullying.

Before the four members of My Crazy Girlfriend collided in L.A. they were making moves on their own. Myah Marie has been singing since she was two years old and writing songs since she was eight. Fraternal twins Bennett and Justyn Armstrong were discovered in a mall by Tricky Stewart at age 11 and moved to Atlanta for a crash course in the music biz. Cosmo also spent time in the studio as a child: Her father was a writer and rapper in Seattle who took his young daughter to work when he was recording with Sir Mix-A-Lot. At 18 she relocated to Los Angeles and fell in with a group of music-making pals that included Bennett and Justyn while she was working on dance music.

At first, the foursome casually worked on each other’s music — writing songs, making suggestions, seeing each other through the ups and downs. And for a while, there were a lot of downs. The group rented an apartment in the Hollywood Towers — directly across the street from Capitol Records’ iconic building — and gazed at what would become their future label just before getting evicted. Myah explains. “None of our songs were getting placed, nothing was happening, and that was the moment we were like, okay, we need to focus on one thing and do us.” Somebody suggested, “Why don’t you guys form like, the Avengers?” Bennett recalls. So they did.

“We wanted to come up with something that’s new but timeless, and that’s why we wanted the majority of our stuff to be organic based and have organic elements,” Justyn says. “It’s awesome to be doing this all together,” Bennett adds. “We feel like one unit, in the studio and out.”
