The A.V. Club recently premiered “Demons + Dopplegangers,” which they called “Funches at his finest—and weirdest.”
Funches is a lovable man whose comedic style would make his reading of the phone book hilarious. He’s smooth, provocative, and has the laugh of “an Asian princess.” The comedy world has yet to touch on black tuba players or Muppet Babies, and Ron is here to fix that.
Along with his role as Shelly on Undateable, Funches has appeared appeared in the 2015 movie Get Hard, Drunk History, Mulaney, Cougar Town, Crash and Bernstein, New Girl, Portlandia, and Conan. He been featured as a voice actor in Bob’s Burgers and Bojack Horseman, and he holds the record for most wins on Comedy Central’s @midnight.
