CHOLULA PORCH INTRODUCED AT GLOBE LIFE PARK IN ARLINGTON

Arlington, Texas–The Texas Rangers and Cholula today introduced the Cholula Porch, the newest renovated space at Globe Life Park in Arlington.

 

The Cholula Porch encompasses the 2,357 All You Can Eat Seat tickets in what was formally known as the Upper Home Run Porch as well as the fully renovated club space located behind that seating area. The club space will service the All You Can Seats during all home games and host non-game events year-round.

 

The partnership between the Rangers and Cholula includes the sponsorship of the Cholula Porch. Cholula will also receive identification around Globe Life Park through home plate and LED signage. In addition, the company is partnering with the Texas Rangers Foundation’s just keep ‘livin program on an incentive initiative to send 20 students on a trip to Los Angeles in June when the Rangers play the Dodgers. First baseman Prince Fielder is also supporting that incentive program.

 

Cholula is the Official Hot Sauce of the Texas Rangers and is the only hot sauce found at Globe Life Park in Arlington. The partnership between Rangers and Cholula is now in its fourth season.

This new space is a great showcase for the Cholula brand. The design and build out of the Cholula Porch was carefully crafted to help further elevate the brand image. The Cholula Porch club space has been fully renovated and features a main open-seating area of more than 7,000 square feet on one level. In addition to serving as a full service area for the All You Can Eat tickets on game days, the Cholula Porch can seat over 400 for other events while accommodating nearly 1,000 total guests. Full catering service will be provided by the Rangers concessionaire, Metroplex Sportservice.

 

Other amenities of the Cholula Porch club space include:

  • A full kitchen that measures nearly 2,000 square feet and can be used to cater a variety of functions
  • A permanent buffet on the east side of the space that features service from four different points (two on each side)
  • A permanent bar on the west side of the space that allows for easy access from the All You Can Eat seats
  • A new AV system
  • Expanded restrooms plus two family restrooms
  • Improved and renovated lower lobby off Randol Mill Road

 

The renovated space originally housed Friday’s Front Row Grill (1994-2003) and Rawlings All-American Sports Grill (2004-2008) before being utilized for the All You Can Eat seating beginning in 2009.

 

Architects for the project were Populous and Sterling Barnett and Little. Manhattan Construction was the contractor.

 

It marked the fifth consecutive off-season in which the club has made renovations to Globe Life Park in Arlington, a period in which the Rangers will have allocated approximately 50 million dollars in ballpark improvements and upgrades.
