SonReal is a three time Juno, and eight time MMVA nominated artist whose unique approach to hip-hop has allowed him to sustain a loyal and growing North American fan base. SonReal’s success took shape when his unorthodox approach to music videos garnered him millions of views online. He was able to maintain the buzz by consistently delivering not only quality visuals but a number of mixtapes over the years to feed the frenzy and expand his fanbase
Everywhere We Go was SonReal’s first music video to catch real steam, and ended up on the front page of Reddit skyrocketing over a million views. The video was later nominated for five MMVA’s including Video Of The Year and paved the way for SonReal to release a full length free album titled One Long Day. After a successful headlining tour across Canada, SonReal headed south performing close to 80 shows in America in 2014
SonReal’s For The Town EP is his first commercial release and best work to date. PREACH being the first visual release from the EP gained 1 million+ views online and was followed up by a mind twisting video for the title track. After completing his very own North American For The Town Tour in support of the EP, SonReal has locked himself away in the studios of Los Angeles to complete what will be his first commercial LP.
