CAT DEPOT’S MASCOT EMPOUNDED BY SARASOTA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE ANIMAL SERVICES
IDENTIFIED BY MICROCHIP
Sarasota, Fla. – (September 1, 2015) – Cat Depot’s mascot, Petunia, was located late yesterday at Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office Animal Services. She was identified and tracked back to Cat Depot by her microchip. After a brief stay at Animal Services, Petunia is now safe and sound and back on the road to spread awareness about homeless, abandoned and injured cats and kittens and the 2015 Giving Challenge.
“Cat Depot always supports keeping your cats indoors to insure their safety,” said Lynn Rasys, Director of Communications and Development. “And, we encourage everyone to microchip their pets so they can find their way home.”
