“Diverse and relatable pop. We are enraptured. The up-and-coming songstress incorporates a plentiful blend of soft pop, electronic elements, and dance music. Ranging from acoustic ballads to moving electronic dance breaks, the talented Caro introduces her artistry to the world with a bang. With tracks speaking on one-sided relationships, lack of trust, and jealousy, [her] songs [offer] an undoubtedly universal insight into modern relationships.”

NEW YORK, NY August 27, 2020 – Today, multi-talented singer-songwriter and producer Caro (Caroline Baker) has released her new single, “Too Far Gone.” It’s a track about giving into an Ex that just keeps coming back – no matter how hard you try not to think about them … “but I’m too far gone and you know that,” she sings.

“I’m really bad at keeping boundaries,” says Caro. “I’d rather put myself through hell and give someone another shot then let them go completely. It’s how I’ve always been. I’m a sucker for half-ass apologies, unread voicemails, and familiarity. Sometimes it feels like I build things and people up so much in my head and make them out to be something they’re not. And that’s why I get too attached. That’s how I get ‘Too Far Gone.’ In my head it’s them and me, and everything else is white noise. And when they realize that, that’s when it starts to kill me.”

The song comes from Caro’s just-announced, two-part EP titled, The Longest Year, with Part One out on September 24th(fans can pre-save the EP HERE). The songs, which were written, recorded and produced by Caro during quarantine, center around the concept of “The Longest Year.” A literal and figurative symbol of both the current halt in our normal way of life due to the pandemic, and the artist’s own internal struggle with the year between age twenty three and twenty four, when you are expected to act like an adult while still finding your way in the world. We’re all stuck in some sort of limbo right now, and The Longest Year is without a doubt a concept that listeners of all ages will relate to. PRESS HERE to listen to “Too Far Gone,” and HERE to listen to previous singles “Part of Me” and “When All My Friends Move Away.”

The Nashville-based, self-taught musician uses her musicality and production skills to create her own unique brand of pop. Her debut mixtape, songs from 3am, has garnered over 20+ million organic streams, landed her on the cover of Spotify’s Fresh Finds Playlist, and grabbed the attention of industry and press alike. While her artist project is taking off, she is also dedicated to her career as a producer/songwriter for other acts including Midnight Kids (RCA), Loren Gray (Capitol), Gavin Haley (Red Bull) and more collaborations to be announced soon; and is looking forward to further solidifying her spot as a triple-threat writer, producer and performer in Music City and beyond.

Stay tuned for more music and announcements coming soon.
