SARASOTA, Fla. (Sept. 06, 2019) – Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) is a rare disease that affects peripheral nerves in the hands, feet and legs, causing chronic nerve pain, numbness and imbalance. Moved to help those with CMT, USF Sarasota-Manatee Instructional Media Technologist Sarah Gentry and Instructor Librarian Jessica Szempruch recently spent five days volunteering as counselors at Camp Footprint, an annual summer camp for children with CMT ages 10 to 18.

USFSM virtual info session for transfer students set Sept. 10
