BBSO Guest Artist Shai Wosner conducts Master Classes with local piano students

Guest Artist Shai Wosner
In anticipation of his performances this Saturday and Sunday, the BBSO’s guest artist Shai Wosner, conducted Master Classes with four local music students on Thursday. Participating students were Rhys Burgess, a 20 year old choral education and piano performance major at Oakland University; Grace Brylinski, 17 years old and home schooled, who has studied piano for 11 years and cello for one year; Heming Chen, 13 years old, in the seventh grade at Pierce Middle School, Grosse Pointe; and Bryce Dudal, 14 years old, in the 8th grade at Davis Junior High, Sterling Heights.
Each student played one piece from their repertoire, and Mr. Wosner worked with each of them for 20-25 minutes.
As the featured soloist at this weekend’s concerts, Shai will perform two Mozart piano concertos with the BBSO, conducted by our new Music Director, John Thomas Dodson. Please join us for this rare opportunity.
