Bill Allred – Guest Artist

Bill Allred was born into a musical family that specialized in jazz found in the New Orleans area and on the Mississippi & Ohio river steam boats. He played in high school, college and US Navy bands before ending up at Disney World.

 

He formed the Bill Allred Classic Jazz Band in 1990 which is now in its 25th year. During this time they played for audiences world-wide at festivals, cruises and special events. This “little big band” boasts highly professional and experienced musicians that have a WOW factor emulating the traditional big band sound.

 

This year Bill brings his wonderful trombone sound and experience, as a guest, playing with other festival bands at the Suncoast Jazz Classic.
