Hit Game Show Starring Comedian Billy Eichner Joins truTV’s
Growing Slate of Original Series, with Encores Set for TBS
This fall, Emmy®-nominated comedian Billy Eichner will make his truTV debut as he returns to the streets of New York City to surprise unsuspecting pedestrians with quick-witted, rapid-fire questions on pop-culture in the Season 4 premiere of Funny Or Die’s Billy on the Street. Launching Thursday, Oct. 8, at 10:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on truTV, the new season of Billy on the Street features appearances by some of the biggest names in Hollywood, from Chris Pratt and Will Ferrell to Anna Kendrick and Julianne Moore, to name a few.
Funny Or Die’s Billy on the Street with Billy Eichner comes to truTV as part of a multi-layered deal with Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.
In the season premiere, Tina Fey joins host Billy Eichner as they hit the streets of New York to find Tina a friend! Plus Billy ambushes innocent civilians with the news that Emma Stone seems down to Earth! Other games include “For A Dollar” and a brand new “Lightning Round.”
Sister network TBS will present encores of each episode after initial airings on truTV, beginning with the season premiere episode on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT). The encores then move to their regular Saturday timeslot, beginning Oct. 17.
Billy on the Street is executive-produced by Mike Farah, president of production for Funny Or Die, along with Billy Eichner and Anna Wenger. Doug Brady is co-executive producer. truTV has ordered 10 half-hour episodes for Billy on the Street‘s fourth season.
