HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM AXIS DANCE COMPANY!
Dear Friends,

As 2016 draws to a close, AXIS looks back on our 29th season with pride. From our cultural exchange in Israel, to our ten city US tour, to our youth assemblies, and to our veteran outreach programs, AXIS has provided over 140 opportunities to witness physically integrated dance of the highest caliber. Our historic National Convening and six Regional Convenings brought together over 300 activators across three generations in the field of physically integrated dance. Galvanizing the field to work together, these think-tank style convenings considered ways to increase equity, inclusion, and access to dance for people of all abilities. Finally, our professional training programs brought over seventy dancers and educators from around the globe to our Summer Intensives and Teacher Training Institutes.

On the eve of our 30th Anniversary season and a new presidency, AXIS has resolved to deepen our efforts to ensure equity for everyone in this country with our emphasis on people with disabilities. We look forward to bringing you innovative artistry, education, and advocacy programs in the new year, including our first ever Intensive Program on the East Coast. We are counting on your support as we move dance and disability culture forward. Stay tuned for exciting news in the new year!
