Asolo Repertory Theatre to Host Family Day at West Side Story on Saturday, December 5

WHAT:

A special matinee performance offers theatre loving families an affordable way to see one of the greatest musicals of all time. Come early to engage with Asolo Rep staff members and learn more about how the magic was made in WEST SIDE STORY. Tickets are $60 for a family of four; two tickets must be for patrons under the age of 18. Additional tickets for children under age 18 are available for $12. WEST SIDE STORY includes adult situations and language and is recommended for ages 11 and up.

 

1pm – 2pm: Doors open for pre-show activities

 

Explore the making of WEST SIDE STORY with interactive lobby stations introducing different aspects of the musical and bringing us into the story. The pre-show presentation, “The Scoop” will also begin at 1pm.

There will be a variety of lunch options beginning at $5 available for purchase.

 

2pm – WEST SIDE STORY matinee performance

 

A “Meet the Actors” conversation will follow, with cast members answering questions from the audience.
