Venice, Italy – August 30, 2014 — AMBI Group co-founders Andrea Iervolino and Lady Monika Bacardi and Academy Award® winners Al Pacino and Barry Levinson were awarded the prestigious ‘Mimmo Rotella Foundation Award’ at the 71st Venice Film Festival in recognition of their work on “The Humbling,” which has its World Premiere at this year’s Festival.

The ‘’Mimmo Rotella Foundation Award’ exists in honor of the late Italian pop artist and poet Domenico “Mimmo” Rotella. Iervolino, who accepted the award alongside his producing partner Lady Monika Bacardi, was recognized for his contributions to the Italian cinema industry, having (at only 26 years of age) produced, funded and distributed over 40 feature films to date. Pacino and Levinson’s work on the film was celebrated for its cinematographic values.

The Barry Levinson directed drama “The Humbling” stars Al Pacino, Mandy Patinkin, Kyra Sedgwick, Charles Grodin, Dianne Wiest, Greta Gerwig and Louise Trenner. Iervolino and Lady Monika Bacardi are co-producers – producing alongside Al Pacino and Jason Sosnoff.

“The Humbling” is a story set on a farm in upstate New York that centers on the sexual (and otherwise) relationship between an aged, suicidal actor and a younger woman.

Lady Monika Bacardi is the widow of Luis Adalberto Facundo Gomez del Campo Bacardi, Lord of Bayfield Hall, known as Lord Luis Bacardi (descendent of the Bacardi founder, still a family-run company).
