Amarillo Symphony Presents Returns to HPPR on Sunday, June 19th

AMARILLO, TEXAS – (June 17, 2016) – The Amarillo Symphony, (www.amarillosymphony.org), the leader of orchestral music in the Texas Panhandle since 1924, today announces the return of Amarillo Symphony Presents that is broadcast on High Plains Public Radio Sundays at noon and Thursdays at 7 p.m. beginning Sunday, June 19th. Amarillo Symphony Presents is the exclusive broadcast home for live recordings of the Amarillo Symphony performances heard at the Globe News Center within the past three years, including concerts not yet heard on the radio from the most recent (2015-16) concert season.

This weekly one-hour program will air on HPPR’s network of 21 broadcast radio stations, making the Amarillo Symphony accessible to audiences across the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles, western Kansas and eastern Colorado.
