LAS VEGAS (February 12, 2014) – Leading Latin pop star Alejandro Fernandez will return to Las Vegas bringing his Confidencias World Tour to the MGM Grand Garden Arena for a Mexican Independence Day celebration Sunday, Sept. 14. Fernandez, who channels Mexico’s rich tradition through his music and continues to capture the hearts of fans worldwide, is one of the most accomplished vocalists and biggest-selling artists in Latin music history. The concert is scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m.

Tickets priced at $65, $75, $99, $175 and $225, not including applicable service charges and taxes, go on sale Friday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. and will be sold at all Las Vegas Ticketmaster locations (select Smith’s Food and Drug Centers and Ritmo Latino). The Confidencias World Tour promises an unprecedented production from one of the most iconic voices in Mexican musical history. The dazzling show pays homage to Mexico via Fernandez’s exceptional mariachi, orchestra and vocal prowess, featuring a collection of his greatest hits including traditional “rancheras,” pop hits and songs from his new album Confidencias.

Renewed musical arrangements and innovative technology are included in the show which features mobile structures of more than 230 robotic lights dance along with a giant screen giving life to breathtaking scenes from Mexico. The images portray some of Mexico’s most rich and vibrant resources – its people, traditions, architecture and folklore. The costumes also are fascinating highlighted by handmade looms from the Mexican state of Chiapas, shawls from Michoacan and traditional “charro” suits from Jalisco.

The MGM Grand Garden Arena is home to concerts, championship boxing and premier sporting and special events.
