A new Accuracy in Media investigative report from Arne Steinberg exposes how the entertainment industry continues to glamorize drug abuse, sympathetically depicting drug addicts and drug dealers as role models and heroes in TV shows such as “Weeds,” “Breaking Bad,” and “House.” At the same time, those promoting initiatives to normalize drug use receive help from the left-wing billionaire George Soros. Soros has consistently worked to legalize mind-altering drugs, bankrolling marijuana “decriminalization” votes in various states.

“The statistics are frightening: 129 people die every day from drugs, with most of the deaths resulting from heroin and prescription pain pills,” Steinberg says in the report. Drug overdoses, he says, are now more dangerous than car accidents and guns.

Steinberg’s report is titled, “How the Media Glamorize Illegal Drugs.” In it you will learn that

  • Toy stores now sell action figures of the “Breaking Bad” meth maker, including a gym bag with money, and his junkie friend.

  • Actress Edie Falco plays a nurse in the show “Nurse Jackie” who regularly sucks drugs up her nose in a straw.

  • “Weeds” sympathetically depicts a mother and her children growing marijuana.

  • The hero in “House” is addicted to prescription painkillers.
