Community Foundation of Sarasota County Promotes Director of Community Impact, Appoints Director of Marketing

SARASOTA, FL – The Community Foundation of Sarasota County has announced the promotion of a longstanding staff member and the appointment of a seasoned marketing professional to enhance awareness of and guide the organization’s community investment strategies.

Angelica Hull has been promoted to Director of Community Impact, in which she will manage a portfolio of grants and initiatives in various sectors with a focus on health and human services. In addition to developing closer relationships with nonprofit grantees and community partners, Hull will help develop the foundation’s strategy to address local needs through charitable gifts. In her previous roles at the foundation, Hull served as Manager of Grants as well as Coordinator of Community Impact. Hull will continue to work closely with Kirsten Russell, Vice President of Community Impact.

With more than 20 years of communications and marketing experience in the private sector, Kimberly Heimiller joins the Community Foundation as Director of Marketing. Heimiller will develop engagement and promotional communications to drive positive change in the community powered by philanthropy. Heimiller will report to Vice President of Strategy and Communications, Mischa Kirby, APR.
