FISH TALES…
On May 10th, The Charthouse Learning Group in partnership with the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association presented their most popular interactive training experience to Sarasota…THE FISH PHILOSPHY.
This fresh and powerful training solution was hosted by Motivational Speaker, Deena Ebbert. It featured usable ideas, storytelling exercises, networking and lots of humor to a captivating audience. If you have not heard of The Fish Philosophy yet and would like to boost morale and re-energize your workplace…continue on….
FISH is the story of the world famous Pike Place Fish Market, a shop in an outdoor farmer’s market in Seattle. Typically, it would be the last place you might look for great customer service, but thousands of organizations worldwide are adopting their Fish Philosophy which is basically fun, friendliness, attentiveness and enthusiasm. It is one of the keys to creating an innovative and accountable work environment where playful attitude leads to more energy. It was an eye-opener for many that grew up with notions like “Work is serious” and “Let’s have no fooling around” or “Profit is the only way to measure business success.” But it is definitely worthy of consideration and discussion for any work environment or individual.
As co-owner of a business in Chicago, I like to think we were ahead of our time. Magic tricks, comedy and an enjoyable cast of characters were an everyday occurrence. I feel we all benefited from the experience.
