GALA PACKAGES INCLUDING CONCERT TICKETS AND BLACK TIE DINNER HONORING DAN GILBERT/MATT CULLEN STILL AVAILABLE

Tickets for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra’s much-anticipated benefit concert featuring John Williams and Steven Spielberg sold out in 15 minutes after going on sale to the general public this morning at 9 a.m., setting a DSO box office record.

Tickets are still available by purchasing a gala package, which includes exclusive concert seating and access to the black tie dinner honoring Dan Gilbert/Matt Cullen. Gala packages start at $1,000 per plate.

DSO security was on site starting at 8 p.m. Sunday, April 13 as fans lined up and camped out in front of the box office. Concessions were available throughout the night. Free pizza was served at midnight and doughnuts were served at 7 a.m.

To ensure order on behalf of the Galactic Alliance, Storm Troopers, Darth Vader, Princess Leia and R2D2 from the 501st Legion Great Lakes Garrison were in attendance starting at 8 a.m.
