New York, NY (February 19, 2016) – Sir Richard Eyre’s staging of Mozart’s comedy Le Nozze di Figaro, which opened the Met’s 2014-15 season, has its first revival beginning February 25. Met Principal Conductor Fabio Luisi leads a cast that includes three artists singing their first company performances of their roles: Mikhail Petrenko as the title character; Anita Hartig as his fiancée, the clever maid Susanna; and Luca Pisaroni as their employer, the lecherous Count. Rachel Willis-Sørensen and Amanda Majeski share the role of the long-suffering Countess, a role both sang for their Met debuts last season in this production’s premiere performances.
