CHASING TASTE GETS RELEASE DATE

Comedy for Food Lovers to be released August 12th, 2016 on iTunes and Verizon Fios TV via Seed&Spark

El Segundo, CA (June 2016) – Director Sean Gannet’s CHASING TASTE will be released on August 12th on iTunes and Verizon FIOS via Seed&Spark. The film marks the first feature-length production for director Gannet and writer Lori Fischer. Actor Kirk McGee (ARE WE THERE YET?) leads an ensemble cast including APRIL WILKNER (AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL), Uma Incrocci (HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER), Maitely Weismann (MASTERS OF SEX), Jabari Gray (LAW & ORDER: SVU), Ty Jones (THE TAKING OF PELHAM 1 2 3) and country superstar Phil Vassar. CHASING TASTE is a comedy for food lovers. The film won Best Comedy Feature Film at both the 2013 Burbank International Film Festival and the 2014 Manhattan Film Festival.

CHASING TASTE follows down-and-out writer Chase Guidry (McGee), who is transformed overnight into NYC’s next big food critic before a freak accident robs him of his senses of taste and smell. In order to keep his new-found fame and pursue the love of his life, he relies on a team of super “smellers” and tasters to fake his reviews. Riding his lie for as long as it will carry him, Chase is bound for a collapse of epic proportion.

“We are thrilled to partner with Seed&Spark on the distribution of CHASING TASTE,” said director Sean Gannet. “This film is a true reflection of the humor, dedication, and grit of our great team. It’s a movie that’s sure to tickle funny bones and excite taste buds.”
