SUPER VIP EXPERIENCE

September 3, 2014 (New York) –Music Midtown Festival headliner, Zac Brown Band, will enlist their Southern Ground Executive Chef Rusty Hamlin, to create the menu for the festival’s Super VIP ticket holders throughout the two-day event, September 19-20, in Atlanta’s Piedmont Park. The menu will feature some of the band’s favorite flavors drawing from their southern roots, with heavy influences from Zac Brown’s own restaurants.

Chef Rusty has been working with Zac Brown for more than a decade. The pair met when Rusty moved to Atlanta to pursue his career as a chef in the early 2000s. Together, they developed the concept for “Eat & Greets” at concerts rather than the traditional “Meet & Greets”. This allows the band and fans to sit around a table and share a meal together, embracing the true meaning of southern hospitality. Chef Rusty prepares these family style meals, for 150 lucky fans, on “Cookie,” the band’s state-of-the-art, 54-foot mobile kitchen.
