(Washington, DC) Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company will be inviting audiences to attend pre- and post-show “House Lights Up” events, curated by Woolly Mammoth’s Connectivity Department, that coincide with the final production of Woolly’s Season 35, Zombie: The American by Robert O’Hara, directed by Howard Shalwitz. All events are free and open to the public.

Stick around after hours for a live taping of You, Me, Them, Everybody, an irreverent locally-grown talk show hosted by Brandon Wetherbee. Wetherbee welcomes members of the creative team from Zombie: The American and zombie expert Dr. Arnold T. Blumberg to the mic for an uncensored take on the undead unlike any you’ve heard before. Featuring special musical and comedy guests!

The zombie professionals from DC Room Escape Adventures are coming to Woolly to turn a lucky group of normal humans into a flesh-eating legion of the undead. After a movement workshop and an expert makeup job, participants will shamble through the streets of Penn Quarter beginning at 6pm, before returning to Woolly for the 7pm performance of Zombie: The American! Special $25 tickets to the show will be available for the horde.
2063: A RE-IMAGINING

An imminent civil war. The threat of African invasion. Zombies in the White House basement. This is playwright Robert O’Hara’s vision of 2063, and now we invite you to imagine how we got there. Engage in a creative brainstorm session with experts on peacekeeping, environmental protection, housing, and communications to trace this nation’s missteps, and chart the course to a different 2063.
