Hear Jennifer Koh and the BBC Symphony Orchestra perform Anna Clyne’s concerto The Seamstress on a new album of the composer’s works released by AVIE Records. The concerto was originally given its world premiere by Ms. Koh and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in 2012. The performance on this recording was conducted by Sakari Oramo in 2016 at Barbican Hall.

Today—two days before Tulsa Opera’s season-opening, semi-staged ‘baseball Rigoletto’ live at ONEOK Field baseball stadium—the company concluded its Staying Alive online series with a grand finale featuring all the artists who helped keep the music going since March. Wu Man’s Reflections on Blue Lake with Kronos Quartet
On Thursday, October 1, the Philharmonic Society of Orange County presented the world premiere of Wu Man’s new composition Reflections on Blue Lake, arranged by and performed with Kronos Quartet. The visuals blend performance footage with the paintings of Wu Man’s father, Wu Guoting, specially animated for this video.
