City of West Palm Beach Creates Whimsical Holiday Celebration Starring 600 Ton Sand Tree
What do you do when you don’t have snow? The holidays are different in Florida, so the City of West Palm Beach celebrates the season with a tropical twist. “Sandi”, the 600 ton holiday sand tree, is the star of the City of West Palm Beach Holiday In Paradise, a month-long celebration of free entertainment and family friendly festivities. Throughout the month of December, residents and visitors can visit the 35-foot holiday sand tree in Sandi Land, located on the stunning West Palm Beach Waterfront and enjoy dazzling musical light shows nightly.
Thousands visit downtown West Palm Beach during the holiday season to experience this one-of-a-kind tropical holiday tree and to see “Sandi” come to life. Created by Team Sandtastic, a world-renowned and international award-winning team of sand sculptors, this is one tree you’ll have to see to believe.
