Visit Sarasota County is the presenting sponsor at two cultural festivals in the Northeast this summer
Broadway on Bryant in New York City and Tanglewood Festival in the Berkshires
SARASOTA, Fla. (July 9, 2014) – Visit Sarasota County (VSC) is the presenting sponsor of Broadway on Bryant in New York City and the Tanglewood Festival in the Berkshires, Massa chutes this summer. The Broadway on Bryant is a free, out series showcasing brief performances of Broadway shows. The Tanglewood Festival is the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
“We could not be more thrilled” says Virginia Haley, president of Visit Sarasota County. “These two opportunities allow us to reach key, influential target markets with our cultural messaging. The Festivals only allow a select number of sponsors each summer which gives our name more visibility and more influence.”
Broadway on Bryant takes place for six consecutive Thursday’s from Noon to 1:30 p.m., July 10- August 14, 2014. The sponsorship is produced in partnership with Clear Channel radio and includes a beach pop-up in the park each week, radio advertising in the tri-state region, and the ability to address the audience with Sarasota County’s cultural message, Visit Sarasota County. Where Artistic Expression and Inspiration Meet from the stage. Between 8,000 and 10,000 people attend the concert each week.
Tanglewood runs June 27-August 30, 2014. The festival will present the likes of Yo Yo Ma, James Taylor, Josh Groban, Rene Fleming along with the Boston Symphony Orchestra to name just a few of the performances. VSC staff will be at the festival one weekend in August to host an inspirational with give-aways, contests and information for all that attend.
