Summer wouldn’t be complete without a cabaret from Kris. Watch out, this year he’s adding some rock ‘n’ roll to his repertoire!
Back to Before features highlights of stage, screen, and radio. Kris will bring the past to life through his eyes with the reverent and not so reverent. His set list includes songs from The Eagles, Styx, Queen, Miss Saigon, The Secret Garden, Ragtime and more!

Robin Fernandez takes you to the movies with Barbra and Frank

Robin Fernandez first came to Venice Theatre to sing in one of our Christmas concerts. Her beautiful renditions of holiday favorites (especially a duet of “The Prayer” that she sang with Nidal Zarour) has earned her a faithful VT following.
In this cabaret, she honors iconic singers/movie stars Barbra Streisand and Frank Sinatra with a variety of signature movie songs and stories of their illustrious lives. You’ll hear “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” “I Could Write A Book,” “Just One of Those Things,” “Somewhere,” “Before the Parade Passes By,” “People” and more.

Dorian and The Furniture

Sunday July 17 at 8 p.m.
Now a staple of the Summer Cabaret Festival, our resident sound designer is back for one night only of mellow rock ‘n’ roll with The Furniture and friends.
By the way, summer cabaret season isn’t the only time Dorian steps away from the sound booth. You may have seen him on stage as Mark in Rent, heard his voice as Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors, or enjoyed his bass playing in several musicals over the years.
And last weekend he lent his voice to “Thriller” at Syreeta Banks’ cabaret.
