UK SINGER-SONGWRITER FRANCES TO JOIN JAMES BAY ON FALL TOUR

October 9th – UK singer-songwriter Frances announces she will support James Bay on his North American tour this fall. From topping Hype Machine’s Most Popular charts to winning widespread acclaim from fans and critics alike for track “Grow,” 21-year-old singer/songwriter Frances is already making a splash as one of the most promising young talents to emerge from the UK this year.
In addition to the James Bay tour, Frances will start the run with her own headline show in Los Angeles on November 10th. These will be Frances’ first live shows in North America, allowing her to share her music internationally. Frances captures the ultimate essence of simplicity and vitality, charmed with effortless character and ardor to her writing. Her unique tone, keen ear for an infectious melody, and honest lyrics make her one to watch. Frances is a piano playing singer and songwriter originally from Newbury, Berkshire. Her classic pop writing reflects key influences by artists ranging from Sia and Coldplay, to Radiohead and Carole King, which ultimately lead to an impressive array of flourishing and memorable tracks and an opening slot for Sam Smith.
