TRINIDAD JAMES MUSIC VIDEO PREMIERE “JUST A LIL THICK (SHE JUICY)” NEW YORK POP-UP EVENT THIS WEDNESDAY APRIL 27TH WITH LIVE PERFORMANCES BY TRINIDAD JAMES, MYSTIKAL & LIL DICKY

Today, vibrant hip-hop artist Trinidad James exclusively partners with urban pop culture site Bossip to premiere the music video to his summer anthem “Just A Lil Thick (She Juicy)” #JALT. The Jon J directed music video showcases Trinidad James, along with guest artists Mystikal and Lil Dicky at an Atlanta house party where sexy, full figured women rule the roost.

“Don’t hide it. Celebrate it this summer and every day that you live… cause what I do know is life is a speeding bullet out the chamber and this bullet of life can penetrate and surface as long as you believe it can! #JALT is a Female Anthem delivered through the perspective of a Curvy Woman,” says Trinidad James.

The Atlanta rapper continues, “every song I heard for the last 3 summers that were “per say” dedicated to the females were always delivered with either “Vixen,” “Bad Bitch,” “Model Chick,” or “Slim Thick” as the canvas. Nothing wrong with that, cause I love those women too, but what about my #CurvyWarriors?! Society has a weird way of showing appreciation for one another. Just let the person on the other side know, somebody got LOVE 4 YOU. Be Big, Be Fine, Be You my Loves.”

This Wednesday April 27th, the #JALT artists will host a New York Pop Up Event for their new DJ Mustard produced hit single. The exclusive event follows the music video premiere with performance sets by each of the 3 artists topped off by a not-to-be-missed performance of their empowering new single.

Designer Isaac Versaw was inspired by “Just A Lil Thick (She Juicy)” for his artistic experiment “Rap, Paper, Scissors.” The project animates GIF’s of hip-hop stars and their famous lines using colorful construction paper and stop-motion video. Trinidad James is one of the most unique, stand out artists in today’s rap game. This natural born entertainer blends Hip-Hop, Pop, EDM and Rock topped off with his Southern charm. With an undeniable fashion game as one of the industry’s most distinctively dressed rappers, the talented Trinidad James has a true appreciation for the arts.

Born on the island of Trinidad and Tobago and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, the budding artist’s debut breakthrough smash hit single “All Gold Everything” was released off his “Don’t Be S.A.F.E” mixtape. “All Gold Everything” certified Gold, charted top 5 at urban mainstream radio and garnered a staggering 37 Million cumulative views. These business moves supercharged Trinidad’s growing stardom, instantly making him a household name across the country. James would go on to release his next hit single dubbed “Females Welcomed” (5 million views) along with a stunning music video shot in his homeland, for the Hip-Hop, EDM blended record that was well ahead of its time. Trinidad released his sophomore mixtape “10Pc Mild” in late 2013 after performing on over four tours that year.   Soon after, he received a BET Awards nomination for “I Luv This Sh*t” (37 million views) collaboration with August Alsina. Furthermore, James$ played his first executive producer role on 31 Grammy’s debut project “Scale Tales.”

Less than a month later, Trinidad released his new highly anticipated “No One is $afe” mixtape featuring Makonnen, Big Krit, Problem, Offset (Migos), Lil Debbie and more. James also unveiled possibly the coolest coffee table book of the year titled “The Book of James” highlighting exclusive photos with motivational quotes.

Most recently, James contributed to the Grammy winning Record Of The Year and #1 song of 2015: Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk” ft. Bruno Mars. With his infamous line “Don’t Believe Me, Just Watch,” James also went on to create his own remix of “Uptown Funk” (2 million views) released on RCA Records. James was also nominated for the Ashford & Simpson Songwriters Award for his work on the song.
