DSO TO GIVE AWAY TWO FREE GALA PACKAGES TO FANS WHO CAMP OVERNIGHT AT BOX OFFICE
STORM TROOPERS, DARTH VADER, PRINCESS LEIA, R2D2 FROM 501ST LEGION GREAT LAKES GARRISON TO BE PRESENT
WHAT: Tickets for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra’s much-anticipated benefit concert featuring John Williams and Steven Spielberg will go on sale Monday, April 14 at 9 a.m.
The first 50 people in line Sunday night will be entered to win two free gala packages ($2,000 value, includes exclusive seating and admittance to black tie gala dinner honoring Dan Gilbert and Matt Cullen).
DSO security will be on site starting at 8 p.m. Sunday, April 13 and concessions will be available throughout the night. Free pizza will be served at midnight and doughnuts will be served at 6 a.m. Fans are encouraged to where costumes inspired by Steven Spielberg/John Williams movies to be entered in a costume contest.
To ensure order on behalf of the Galactic Alliance, Storm Troopers, Darth Vader, Princess Leia and R2D2 from the 501st Legion Great Lakes Garrison will be in attendance starting at 8 a.m. Monday, April 14.
In case of inclement weather, all campers will be admitted into the Max M. Fisher Music Center atrium.
