Keeping The Bulgarian Culture Alive
Bulgaria has one of the richest cultures in the world. Here in Sarasota, the American-Bulgarian Culture Center is dedicated to preserving this culture for the next generation. On Sunday, September 7th, the school had an opening ceremony and invited our very own Dolly Jacobs to be a part of the celebration as the featured guest speaker. Not only was the community excited to meet Dolly but were very impressed that she delivered her presentation in their native language. Through her world travels as a circus artist, Dolly learned to read, write and speak Bulgarian fluently (just one of several languages this talented lady speaks!).

Cool Today Donates AC
Thanks to a very generous donation from Cool Today, our concession stand has been

equipped with air-conditioning! It was not uncommon for this area to be over 110 degrees, especially

when the concession stand was open for business. Now our volunteers and students can be comfortable and safe in their new environment.
The Circus Arts Conservatory depends on the support from area businesses such as Cool Today and individuals to continue impacting area youth and seniors. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helps our mission thrive. To learn how you can help, or to take a tour and find out more about our outreach programs, contact us today at 941-355-9335 x 325 or email [email protected]
