The VOTE NO on 2 Campaign Releases New TV Ad ‘Pot is Not Medicine’
-Ad Shows Marijuana is Not Regulated by FDA, Not Prescribed by Physicians, Medicine is Not Smoked-
TALLAHASSEE, FLA. (September 23, 2016) – The VOTE NO on 2 campaign today released the TV ad ‘Pot is Not Medicine’ to inform Florida voters that smoking marijuana is not how you take medicine and that Amendment 2 is nothing more than a scam to legalize pot smoking.
The 30-second ad compares the prescription drug Marinol, which has the same benefits as marijuana but is regulated by the FDA and prescribed by a doctor, to marijuana, which is not regulated by the FDA and not prescribed by a doctor.
This latest ad is one of a series of ads by the campaign that continue to show that pot is not medicine and there’s nothing medical about Amendment 2.
