Gay Brings More Than 20 Years of Sports Journalism and Editorial Experience

Las Vegas, Nev. – The Ultimate Fighting Championship® (UFC®) is pleased to announce that Nancy Gay has joined the company as Vice President, Editor-In-Chief of UFC.com. In her new role, Gay will develop editorial content for UFC.com and direct the website’s worldwide operation, spanning 16 regions and 9 different languages. Nancy will also oversee web producers and UFC.com writers around the world, working closely with UFC production teams to create exclusive and innovative content for millions of UFC fans.

Gay brings more than 20 years of sports journalism experience and comes to the UFC from Comcast SportsNet Bay Area. A longtime writer and broadcast analyst of combat sports, NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, and motorsports for the NBC Sports Group, FOXSports.com, ESPN, and NFL Network, Gay began her career as a newspaper sportswriter at USA Today, the Orlando Sentinel, the San Jose Mercury News, and the San Francisco Chronicle. She is also the first female voter for the 46-person Pro Football Hall of Fame selection committee.
