THE PLAYERS STUDIO CELEBRATES ITS 20TH ANNIVERSARY
AND OPEN HOUSE
Sarasota, FL – The Players Studio celebrates its 20th Anniversary this year and there will be an Open House on Saturday, August 22nd from 10-1pm. The Open House will be a great time to meet the instructors, ask questions, register for classes, and enjoy light refreshments. There is a lot in store for the upcoming season and you won’t want to miss this great opportunity to see the many improvements within the Theatre.
For the past twenty years, The Players Studio has provided young actors, dancers and singers with a unique creative outlet and invaluable training. Every year has been filled with a wide variety of classes that allow young people of our community to explore their love of the performing arts, discover hone. This year will be no different. New class sessions will begin on Monday, August, 31, 2015. The schedule is loaded with classes like ballet, lyrical, jazz, hip-hop, tap, acting, and singing, plus new specialty workshops!
Students participating in classes at the theatre also prepare all year for a number of community performances and stage shows. Auditions for The Players Kids will be held September 12th 2015 at 9am. The first big show held on our main stage will be the annual, Holiday Revue on Monday, December 14th. Outreach performances at retirement facilities will be presented in December and May. To wrap up the season, students will also be appearing in the End of Year Showcase, on June 3rd, 2016.
Everyone who shows up to The Players Studio open house will receive a complimentary voucher for $10 to The Columbia Restaurant on St. Armands Circle.
