THE PLAYERS CENTRE NAMES DENNIS McSWEENEY, DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT AND PATTY CAMPBELL, DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES
Sarasota, Sept. 16, 2016 – The Players Centre for Performing Arts begins its phase of growth and is pleased to announce the appointment of Dennis McSweeney to the position of Director of Development and Patti Campbell as Director of Human Resources.
McSweeney has over 30 years of involvement with non-profits and business development and will be instrumental in the advancement and completion of The Players’ Capital Campaign. He will be helping to facilitate the transition to the new community “The Waterside Place,” and will be coordinating support for an endowment to secure the theatre’s ongoing success.
“The opportunity to be a part of this evolution is beyond exciting. It is amazing to help bring about a new stage of growth of the historic Players Theatre and to expand the impact of our community’s involvement,” says McSweeney. “The theatre represents something much larger than being a place for patrons to enjoy a show; with this move we want to nurture a strong and vibrant involvement with the community, offering people of all ages an opportunity to be actively involved in the arts.”
Dennis can be contacted by email at [email protected]
