The Perlman Music Program/Suncoast welcomes Lisa Berger as Executive Director

SARASOTA, Fla. (September 29, 2020) The Perlman Music Program/Suncoast (“Perlman Suncoast”) is excited to announce that Lisa Berger has been named the organization’s new Executive Director. Prior to joining Perlman Suncoast, Berger was affiliated with Art Center Sarasota for twelve years – serving on the Board of Directors; as Development and Marketing Director; and, for the last eight years, as Executive Director.

“I am looking forward to having a visionary like Lisa, with her many talents and long-standing ties in the community, leading The Perlman Music Program/Suncoast,” said Fran Lambert, Board President. “We are thrilled to welcome her as the newest member of our team.”

As Executive Director of Art Center Sarasota, Berger was instrumental in expanding the organizational growth and outreach within our local community. During her tenure, she was integral to important advances, including an increase in revenue and donations, as well as a significant expansion of the organization’s engagement with artists, students, and a broader, more diverse audience.

“As I am passionate about all aspects of the arts, joining The Perlman Music Program/Suncoast is a natural fit for me,” said Berger. “I am truly excited to be part of this exceptional and talented group of people. My focus will be on expanding awareness in our regional community of the opportunities to enjoy the incredible talents of the students, alumni and faculty, increasing diversity and outreach as well as ensuring the financial future of the program here on the Suncoast”.
