Romeo Santos, the King of Bachata, wows thousands of fans on TODAY plaza

Some of TODAY’s viewers may have wondered what all the fuss was about on the plaza this morning. But thousands of fans — some who lined up down the block — already knew: They were there to see the King of Bachata, Romeo Santos!
If the crowd didn’t tip you off, Santos is a major, major star in Latin music.
Here to kick off our weeklong #VivaTODAY series, Santos is a multi-platinum-selling performer who was ranked by Billboard as the Top Latin Music Artist of 2014.
A Bronx native, he famously sold out two shows at Yankee Stadium, and his 2013 song “Propuesta Indecente” has over 663 million views on YouTube.
