New York, NY (October 2, 2017)—After a successful US tour, punk rock icons the Dead Boys will head to the UK for a run of 2018 shows, presented by Fresh Start Agency & Management and Plowboy Records. The UK string of tour dates kicks off on January 31 in Leeds. 2017 marked the 40th anniversary of the Dead Boys classic 1977 album Young Loud And Snotty with the release of Still Snotty: Young Loud And Snotty At 40! (Plowboy Records).

Throughout their 2017 tour, which has included several sell-out shows, the Dead Boys have brought their classic energy to a whole new crowd, bridging the gap between generations of rockers.

A quintessential component of the classic era, one cannot mention the iconic New York CBGB’s-and-beyond without mentioning the Dead Boys. Standing on the same mantle as the Sex Pistols and the Ramones, the Dead Boys are notorious for their sonic sound: a blend of proto-punk elements kicked up with a fiercer, more ferocious energy.

They’re still loud, and still snotty… just with an extra 40 years of experience.
