Los Angeles, CA – October 13, 2017 – In advance of the second iteration of David Lynch‘s one-of- a-kind Festival to benefit the David Lynch Foundation, Festival of Disruption and Boiler Room have teamed up to stream portions of the event online, including performances from Bon Iver, TV on the Radio and Laura Marling, and talks by Ed Ruscha, Twin Peaks collaborators Duwayne Dunham, Dean Hurley, Johanna Ray, Peter Deming, Sabrina Sutherland and Gary D’Amico, via the newly launched FOD/Boiler Room webpage. Following the festival, Boiler Room will be releasing a short documentary focusing on Twin Peaks Music Supervisor Dean Hurley and the music of the iconic show.

The Festival of Disruption will take place this weekend, October 14th and 15th, at the Theatre at Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.The weekend will feature a unique lineup of creatives handpicked by David Lynch himself to create an immersive weekend of musical performances, talks, film screenings, art exhibits, meditation sessions and more. The lineup also includes performances by The Kills, Sharon van Etten, Reggie Watts, Moby, Shepard Fairey and more; talks Bill Hader, Sheryl Lee and Pete Holmes; art exhibits by William Eggleston and David Lynch;not-to-be-missed film screenings; and meditation sessions. Net proceeds from the festival will benefit the David Lynch Foundation’s initiatives with urban youth, veterans with PTSD, women who are survivors of violence and abuse, adults and children living with HIV, and more.
Last year’s inaugural Festival of Disruption brought together Robert Plant & The Sensational Space Shifters, St. Vincent, Questlove, Kyle MacLachlan & Laura Dern, Mel Brooks, John Malkovich, Frank Gehry, Blondie’s Debbie Harry & Chris Stein and many more for a wildly successful sold-out weekend that the LA Times called “weird, lovely…decidedly otherworldly.”
