Today The Chemical Brothers have shared“MAH,” a new song from the duo’s forthcoming ninth studio album, No Geography. The track saw a Zane Lowe World Record premiere earlier today and is accompanied by a visual filmed at the band’s recent sold-out London shows at Alexandra Palace. Directed by Marcus Lyall and featuring visuals created by Adam Smith & Marcus, the clip captures a taste of the band’s live spectacle, regarded as one of the best shows in the world. View the video HERE.
The release of “MAH” follows 2018’s exuberant anthem, “Free Yourself,” which debuted alongside an incrediblemusic video directed by long-time collaborators Dom & Nic. The track was dubbed “aeuphoric, multi-faceted odyssey of blistering synths and deep grooves” by Rolling Stone. Both “MAH” and “Free Yourself” are featured on No Geography, due for release this spring. No Geography is the follow up to the British duo’s GRAMMY®-nominated 2015 album, Born In the Echoes, which was their sixth consecutive UK No. 1 album. Additional album details including tracklist and U.S. pre-order information are forthcoming.

The Chemical Brothers recently announced their first U.S. live shows since 2015. The spring 2019 North American run will see the pair perform in Mexico City on May 12, with two stops in Los Angeles at the Shrine Expo Hall on May 15 and the Greek Theatre on May 16. The tour will conclude on May 17 at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. The Black Madonna will join as special guest for the Los Angeles and San Francisco shows. See below for full itinerary and tickets, including international dates.
In 2015, the legendary duo – comprising Ed Simons and Tom Rowlands – released their GRAMMY®-nominated album, Born In The Echoes, which featured collaborations with such artists as Q-Tip, St. Vincent and Beck, plus visual experimentation with Oscar-winning director Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Science of Sleep, The Green Hornet) and in virtual reality with Chris Milk. Pitchfork praised Born In The Echoes as “some of the best pure pop songs Rowlands and Simons have ever made” while NME declared it “a bold reinvention of the Chemical Brothers’ sound.” The Chemical Brothers have sold more than 12 million albums and six million singles worldwide. They have had six No. 1 albums in the U.K. and were the first electronic act ever to receive a GRAMMY, winning in the Best Rock Instrumental Performance category for “Block Rockin’ Beats” – the first of their four GRAMMY wins.

About Astralwerks:
Established in New York City and now finding its new home in the historic Capitol Records Tower in Los Angeles, Astralwerks was the brainchild of staffers at Caroline Records who saw an opportunity for a label focused on the emerging electronic and ambient scene. Having reached a milestone of 25 years, Astralwerks has quickly become a modern, artist-first label with a true focus on nurturing talent across the electronic genre and beyond. Acting with a scalable, independent and global thinking mentality with the capability to tap into the resources of a major label, has allowed Astralwerks to retain and sign up-and-coming artists such as ILLENIUM, Jonas Blue, Alison Wonderland, EDEN, Sigma and Axwell /\ Ingrosso. As a testament to this pioneering approach, Astralwerks has amassed 30 GRAMMY® nominations, taken home six GRAMMY Awards and had historic releases from the likes of The Chemical Brothers, Swedish House Mafia, Halsey, Porter Robinson, Phoenix, Eric Prydz, Fatboy Slim and many more.
