WASHINGTON – The Capital City Showcase, the variety show with the best comedians, musicians, and performing artists in the DC area, returns with its latest feature: The DMV Roast, on Tuesday, November 4th, 2014 at 8:00pm!
The DMV Roast is on the first Tuesday of every month at The Brixton, located at 901 U St NW, Washington DC 20001.
Some of the area’s funniest comics come together to roast DC’s sports teams, public figures, and current events. Each show will feature a “comic stand-in” to play the part of the idea being roasted.
For the next edition of The DMV Roast, we will be roasting The Mayoral Candidates.
The part of the candidates will be played by:
Chelsea Shorte as Muriel Bowser
Donnie Sengstack as David Catania
Katherine Jessup as Carol Schwartz
The DMV Roast is part of “Tuesdays with Funnie” at The Brixton, a FREE show EVERY Tuesday night! The Brixton will also be offering their Happy Hour drink specials from 7:00pm till 10:00pm!
This show will be free of charge, though donations will be collected for the artists.
Doors open at 7:00pm for an 8:00pm showtime
