SARASOTA COUNTY – The Artists in the Libraries series, now ongoing at eight Saraosta County Library System locations, offers visitors a chance to experience a free studio art session with a trained teaching artist.
Each workshop is a hands-on, interactive art exploration in a various discipline. Each county library will offer three separate sessions, for children, teens and adults. Artists will provide training in various art forms, including clay sculpture, oriental brush painting, storytelling and drama, optical illusions, jewelry design, watercolor painting, shadow puppet making, Balinese dance and creative writing.
