SARASOTA, Fla. (May 11, 2015)
The 14th Annual Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation Golf Tournament was held at Laurel Oak Country Club on May 1, 2015. Both the east and west courses were included to accommodate the sold-out tournament of more than 212 golfers.
This year’s tournament netted proceeds of more than $90,000 to benefit the Healthcare Foundation’s Physicians Endowment, which provides general education opportunities for all Sarasota Memorial staff and physicians. Since the tournament began in 2002, more than $600,000 has been raised including this year’s successful bounty.
Tournament chair Ron Milton and committee members, Trustee Patricia Riley, Adrian Gadd, Dana Place, David Fouche, and Michele Beni, and President & CEO Alex Quarles were thrilled with this year’s tournament and subsequent netted results. Quarles said “A special thanks to all of this year’s sponsors, players, vendors, volunteers and staff. This effort doesn’t happen without you, your hard work, and your dedication.”
