TEXAS RANGERS TRADE OF RYAN STRAUSBORGER TO SEATTLE FOR 2016 INTERNATIONAL SLOT COMPENSATION
Boston, Massachusetts–The Texas Rangers today announced that the club has traded minor league outfielder Ryan Strausborger to the Seattle Mariners in exchange for 2016 international slot compensation.
Strausborger has spent the entire season at Triple-A Round Rock, batting .288 with 4 homers and 16 RBI in 45 games. He is in his 7th season in the Texas organization and made his major league debut with the Rangers in 2015, hitting .200 in 31 games.
