TEXAS RANGERS AND MAZDA CONTINUE PARTNERSHIP IN 2016
Rangers’ players to make appearances at DFW Mazda Dealerships
Arlington, Texas–The Texas Rangers and Mazda announced today that the parties have renewed their sponsorship agreement for the 2016 season.
“We are very pleased that Mazda will be a valued corporate Texas Rangers partner for a seventh consecutive year in 2016,” said Jim Cochrane, Texas Rangers Senior Vice President, Partnerships and Client Services. “The Rangers look forward to another great year with Mazda on board.”
The new agreement gives Mazda naming rights to the Home Plate Gate at Globe Life Park in Arlington which is now called the Mazda Home Plate Gate. Mazda is also the title sponsor of the official post-game show on the 75-station Texas Rangers Radio Network and 105.3 The Fan.
“Mazda is honored to be a long-standing partner of the Texas Rangers,” said Craig Salsberry, Mazda’s Gulf Region General Manager. “In our seventh year with the organization, Mazda DFW-area dealers are honored to be a part of an ultimate fan experience for both baseball fans and Mazda owners. We look forward to another year with Rangers, and to a great season of baseball.”
In addition, Rangers players, including outfielder Delino DeShields and first baseman Mitch Moreland, will be making personal appearances at nine free autograph sessions at DFW-area Mazda Dealerships throughout the season. A full list of locations and dates will be announced when finalized.
